To ask the Secretary of State for Employment what plans the Manpower Services Commission has for setting up jobcentre facilities in London docklands.

Mr. Lee

Responsibility for jobcentres now rests with Department of Employment's employment service. It has a network of 23 local offices in the docklands boroughs of which 11 offer jobcentre facilities. It is currently reviewing this network with a view to helping the largest possible number of local unemployed people find work.
