§ Mr. Michael ForsythIn 1985 (the latest year for which figures are available) the total number of births in the consultant unit at Perth royal infirmary was 1,159 and in the GP unit at the Fyfe Jamieson maternity home, Forfar, was 133. Data for the consultant unit at Melrose are not available because the hospital has not yet been commissioned. I regret that the other information requested is not held centrally.
