To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs what recent communications his Department has had with the Austrian Government about Anglo-Austrian relations.

My Department maintains necessary contacts with the Austrian Government appropriate to maintaining relations between our two states.

To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs whether he will make a further statement on the current state of relations between the United Kingdom and Austria.
