§ Mr. Chris PattenIn the current year Her Majesty's Government expect to provide about £12 millon of aid to Nepal. Most of this is designed to help protect the environment and reduce poverty in one of the world's poorest countries and to support the Government of Nepal's efforts to reform its economy. When I visited Nepal in March this year I announced a new grant of £20 million.
