§ Mr. Chris PattenWe will continue to seek to provide humanitarian relief to the hungry in Ethiopia wherever they may be. In selecting the most appropriate channels for our assistance we take particular account of the need to ensure that it reaches those for whom it is intended as quickly as possible. We believe this can best be achieved by operating through international organisations, or through British based non-governmental organisations.
