To ask the Secretary of State for the Environment what information he has as to the reasons for the delay in the purchase by Mrs. S. G. Beale of her home at 4 Lyall avenue, Dulwich, London SE21 8QS from Southwark borough council.

According to Southwark council this delay was the result of staff shortages, particularly in the valuers' department.
