§ Mr. PortilloThe Supplementary Benefit (Requirements) Regulations 1980 were amended, before they took effect on 24 November 1980, to omit the word "extra" from column 2 of paragraph 13(e) to schedule 3. This was done to avoid the great difficulty of requiring the adjudication officer to establish the cost of a normal diet in order to determine the extra cost of a special one.
