§ Mr. Donald Thompson[holding answer 20 June 1988]: I am aware of this case which has implications for quota allocation in all member states; however, it is for the EC Commission to consider the necessary steps to comply with the judgment and to make proposals to the Council of Ministers. In the meantime, it would be inappropriate to advocate specific action.
