§ Mr. GristTwenty-four per cent. more in-patients were treated and 18 per cent. more new out-patients were seen in Welsh hospitals in 1986 than in 1979. I am pleased to say that the 1987 figures show an even further improvement to 28 per cent. and 21 per cent respectively.
