§ Mr. MoynihanA list of over 200 environmental measures, including regulations and directives, is given in "EEC Environment Policy and Britain" by Nigel Haigh: The second edition of this useful reference work was commissioned by the Department of the Environment as a contribution to European Year of the Environment. I am arranging for copies to be placed in the Libraries of the House. The measures listed are all of interest to this Department although in a number of cases primary responsibility lies in other Departments. Since the second edition was prepared the following measures have been adopted by the Council of Ministers.
