§ 57. Mr. HunterTo ask the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food what quantity of cereals is currently held in intervention in(a) the United Kingdom and (b) the European Community as a whole.
§ Mr. MacGregorAt 15 May the quantity of cereals held in intervention in the European Community was 9.4 million tonnes of which 1.3 million tonnes was held in the United Kingdom. A note setting out the volume of intervention stocks in the United Kingdom and the European Community which includes figures for cereals, is deposited in the Library of the House and is updated monthly.
