§ Mr. MoynihanThe collection of litter and its disposal within the general waste stream together with other refuse collected in their respective areas is the responsibility of the relevant local authorities. It is for them to assess and utilise the most up-to-date and cost-effective methods available which are most suitable for their particular areas.
