§ Mr. ChopeThe Secretary of State has treated this request that he exempt local authority expenditure on dog wardens from the ambit of expenditure control as a representation that he make a specification subtracting this expenditure from total expenditure for block grant 479W purposes under powers in the Local Government Finance Act 1987. He has considered this request very carefully but is not minded to make such a specification in the light of the information available to him.
