What was the reduction in the number of ancillary staff in the National Health Service between 1980–81 and 1986–87, expressed in whole-time equivalents.

Between 30th September 1980 and 30th September 1986 the number of whole-time equivalent NHS ancillary staff in post in the United Kingdom reduced by 52,300.
