§ Mr. Allan RobertsTo ask the Secretary of State for the Environment (1) if he will estimate the costs of support to local authority environmental health departments in undertaking their statutory duties to regulate drinking water quality and recreational water quality after privatisation of the water industry;
(2) what arrangements are currently in hand to ensure independent auditing of drinking water quality after privatisation of the water industry;
(3) if he will name those individuals outside his 806W Department presently advising the Department of the Environment on the regulation of drinking water quality after privatisation of the water industry;
(4) what outside advice he will be receiving on the regulation of recreational water quality after privatisation of the water industry.
