§ Mr. FreemanIt is Ministry of Defence policy to purchase suitable additional land which becomes available to improve the Salisbury plain training area, and specific proposals would be discussed with the local planning authority at the time; no proposals are at present the subject of such consultation. We look carefully at706W opportunities, when presented, to add land to the training area to provide buffer zones to separate training and private land and these continue to be let for agriculture.
