To ask the Secretary of State for Scotland (1) if he will give the total number of students in Scotland who obtained ordinary national certificates, higher national certificates and city and guilds examination awards in each of the years 1979 to 1987, inclusive;
(2) if he will give the total number of students in Scotland presented for ordinary national certificates, higher national certificate and city and guilds in each of the years 1979 to 1987, inclusive.
