§ Mr. Michael ForsythThe overall increase in the nurses' pay bill as a result of this year's pay award was estimated by the review body to be 15.3 per cent. It is this estimate that has been used in determining the amount of additional funding to be provided to meet the costs of the award. Details of the total allocations provided to308W individual health boards were given in my answer to my hon. Friend the Member for Tayside, North (Mr. Walker) on 5 July.
