§ Mr. Douglas HoggThe Department is discussing with the Institution of Professional Civil Servants a wide range of proposals for enhancing the effectiveness of the forensic science service and improving its efficiency. We expect to receive these proposals shortly and my noble Friend will write to the hon. and learned Member when we have considered them.
