To ask the Secretary of State for Defence if he has any plans to improve safeguards against accidental use of nuclear weapons; and if he will make a statement.

We are fully confident that appropriate safeguards exist to prevent the accidental use of the United Kingdom's nuclear weapons. We keep our safeguarding arrangements under constant review.
