§ Mr. SainsburyWe estimate that some £16.3 million will be spent in the financial year 1988–89 on information technology to assist, directly or indirectly, in the control of Ministry stocks. This figure includes the acquisition of new hardware, the replacement of life-expired hardware and ongoing commitments for maintenance and software licences.
