§ Mr. Simon HughesTo ask the Secretary of State for the Environment if he will list(a) all applications for consents to dispose of properties and-or sites to or for the purpose of use by housing associations at outsanding loan debt or less than market value received by his Department from the London borough of Tower Hamlets between 8 May 1986 and 18 July 1988; (b) the date on which each submission was first received by his Department; (c) the date on which consent was granted in relation to each application so far decided, (d) the latest date by which consent will be given in relation to each application not yet decided and (e) the explanation for the delay between application and decision in each case.
§ Mrs. RoeThe information requested is not readily available in the form required. The Department has the following applications for consent outstanding:
- Monteith Estate, received 26 June 1987;
- Glenaffric Avenue, received 17 November 1987;
- Masthouse Terrace, received 7 December 1987;
- Ashfield Street, received 23 December 1987;
- Hadrian Estate, received 23 February 1988;
- Bishops Way, received 18 April 1988;
- Selby Street, received 3 May 1988;
- Buckfast Street and Barnet Grove, received 20 June 1988.
Cases have been delayed because all the necessary information from Tower Hamlets London borough council and outside bodies has not been available to the Department. Consents, where appropriate, will be issued as soon as possible.
