§ Mr. JannerTo ask the Secretary of State for the Environment whether he will place in the Library copies of the results of the ethnic monitoring exercises in the areas of part time working and job sharing, reinstatement, special leave, special training, recruitment and the ethnic origin of staff, carried out by his Department.
§ Mr. RidleyI shall place results of the ethnic monitoring recruitment and staff in post surveys in the Library.
Ethnic monitoring of part-time workers and job sharers, those reinstated and applicants for special leave and special training has not been carried out, although monitoring by gender has.
§ Mr. JannerTo ask the Secretary of State for the Environment when he expects that the analysis of the ethnic origins of his Department's staff in post in March 1988 will be completed; and whether he will place a copy in the Library.
§ Mr. RidleyAnalysis of my Department's ethnic origin data is a continuous process. An initial analysis by grade, region and location will be completed by the end of October 1988, and I shall place a copy in the Library.
