To ask the Secretary of State for Scotland which organisations have been or will be consulted by the Forestry Commission in producing the new conservation guidelines referred to in page 7 of the new Forestry Commission booklet "Woodland Grant Scheme."

[holding answer 27 May 1988]: The Forestry Commission is consulting the Nature Conservancy Council, Timber Growers UK, the Commission and the Countryside for Scotland in the preparation of these guidelines.
