§ Mr. RentonThe Video Recordings Act already applies to any video game which to any significant extent depicts acts of gross violence or to any extent stimulates or encourages such acts. It is an offence to supply such a game unless it has been classified by the British Board of Film Classification or, if it has been classified, to supply it other than to a person in the age group for which it is classified as suitable.
