Mr. Corbyn

To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs what representatives of Her Majesty's embassy in Santiago, Chile will be attending the Chile Crea congress.

Mr. Eggar

The Chile Crea arts festival incorporates a wide range of cultural events. Various members of Her Majesty's embassy in Santiago will be attending the festival.

Mr. Corbyn

To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs what representation Her Majesty's Government will send to Chile to observe the plebiscite due before October 1989.

Mr. Eggar

We do not intend to send an observer delegation to the Chilean plebiscite.
