To ask the Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster what resources are available to the Securities and Investments Board to carry out investigations under the powers given it by the Financial Services Act 1986; and what use has been made of those powers since the board was created.

To ask the Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster why the contract of Mr. David Levy, north Peckham task force leader, was ended prematurely.

Daniel Levy is not leaving the North Peckham task force prematurely. He was not engaged for any fixed term and he has decided that he would now like to return to private consultancy. I am grateful for his work in north Peckham and I think he is entitled to regard his tenure of a difficult post as a success.
