§ Mr. NeedhamUK Nirex Ltd. recently published a discussion document "The Way Forward" a copy of which is available in the Library, which sets out the options for future disposal of nuclear waste. Following receipt of comments it expects to be in a position in about a year's time to recommend to Government one or more sites worthy of further investigation. Consultations with UK Nirex Ltd. before it has made a recommendation would not be productive.
