Mr. Thurnham

To ask the Secretary of State for Social Services if he will list the names of(a) organisations and (b) individuals who responded to his Department's consultation document, Cm. 46, "Legislation on Human Infertility Services and Embryo Research", published in December 1986.

[holding answer 20 January 1988]: Detailed responses were sent to the Department by the 158 organisations listed as follows and by 40 individuals. The other health departments also received comments. The list indicates those organisations whose submissions have been placed in the Library. Clearance is being sought to make similar arrangements for the remaining organisations.
