§ Mr. Chris Smith
To ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer if, pursuant to the reply to the hon. Member for Holborn and St. Pancras (Mr. Dobson)Official Report, 15 January, column 406, he will indicate the reasons for the increase in total expenditure for the Central Office of Information, in constant prices, from £60.5 million in 1982–83 to £141 million in 1987–88.
