To ask the Secretary of State for Employment what was the level of staff turnover in unemployment benefit offices in(a) the Greater London area and (b) the south-east of England area in 1986–87.

The level of staff turnover in 1986–87 was as follows:

  • The Greater London area 17.1 per cent.
  • The South East of England 13.1 per cent.
