§ Mrs. RoeOwners are entitled to assistance from their local housing authority under the housing defects legislation, provided they meet the conditions for eligibility. Those owners who do not qualify for HDA assistance but consider they face hardship should seek their own provisional advice on the courses open to them. I have recently invited the hon. Member to a meeting about this, together with other interested Members and local authority representatives.
