§ Mr. TrippierI refer my hon. Friend to the reply I gave to my hon. Friend the Member for Hendon, South (Mr. Marshall) on 10 November 1988, indicating for Brent as at 31 March 1988 combined arrears of rent, rates, water rates and heating service charges of approximately £16.7 million. The council has not given a separate figure for rent only, but my estimate is £ 8. 1 million representing about 47 per cent. of the 1987–88 rent roll.
