To ask the Prime Minister what representations the Cabinet Office have had from the Medical Research Council for the LINK programme, to develop ties between academia and industry, in particular with a view to establishing co-operation between pharmaceutical companies and universities to investigate new forms of drug delivery; and if she will make a statement.

The Cabinet Office has not received any representations from the Medical Research Council concerning the LINK programme.
