To ask the Secretary of State for Wales how many homes have been bought by the tenants of each of the housing associations in Wales in each year since the inception of right to buy legislation.

A total of 313 dwellings have been bought by housing association tenants since the inception of "right to buy". Details are given in the table. During the same period, about 2,400 additional sales took place under such schemes as co-ownership, improvement for sale, leasehold schemes for the elderly, home ownership schemes for tenants of charitable housing associations, and shared ownership schemes.
