HC Deb 18 January 1988 vol 125 cc584-5W
Ms. Harman

To ask the Secretary of State for Social Services what is the planned family practitioner service expenditure, net of charges, for the years 1988–89 to 1990–91.

Mr. Newton

[holding answer 18 December 1987]: Government expenditure on the family practitioner services, including administration, in England is planned at £4,178 million, £4,490 million and £4,840 million for 1988–89, 1989–90 and 1990–91 respectively. These figures are net of charges and, for 1988–89 only, allow for assumed receipts from a reconstitution of the General Practice Finance Corporation.
