To ask the Secretary of State for Social Services if he will list in theOfficial Report the number of clerical officers employed by each regional health authority for each year since 1979 until the latest year for which figures are available, together with the estimated number of clerical officers required by each regional health authority.

I shall let the hon. Member have such information as is available as soon as possible. Information on the number required by each regional health authority is not available centrally.
