To ask the Secretary of State for the Environment whether the London Residuary Body will transfer the open space on the junction of Bruce road and Powis road, E3, to the London borough of Tower Hamlets with a view to incorporating it into Bromley recreation ground and enabling plans for an under-fives playground to proceed; and if he will make a statement.

The future of this site is currently under discussion by the LRB and the council of the London borough of Tower Hamlets. It is open to the London residuary body to make a proposal to the Secretary of State for the transfer of this property to the council under section 67 of the Local Government Act 1985.
