To ask the Secretary of State for Scotland what was the National Health Service internal inflation rate in Scotland in each of the last 10 years.

§ Mr. Michael Forsyth
No records of inflation in the NHS in Scotland are kept. Financial provision for the NHS is planned and made on a cash basis.
