To ask the Secretary of State for Social Services what provisions have been made for social fund application forms to be available in languages other than in English.

Mr. Portillo

Claim forms for the social fund, in common with other social security claim forms, will be available only in English, apart from the customary separate provision for Welsh speakers in Wales.
