HC Deb 23 February 1988 vol 128 c116W
Sir John Biggs-Davison

To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department if he will call for a report from the Commissioner of Police of the Metropolis as to what steps the police are taking to ensure that sentries on duty outside the royal palaces and royal residences, and their horses, are not subjected to unpleasant attentions from tourists and others; and if he will make a statement.

Mr. Douglas Hogg

The police have the necessary powers to deal with any difficulties which may arise.
