§ 59. Mr. ArcherTo ask the Attorney-General if he will take steps to expedite the hearing of appeals under section 13(ii) of the Immigration Act 1971.
§ The Attorney-GeneralFollowing the transfer of administrative responsibility for the immigration appellate authorities to my noble and learned Friend the Lord Chancellor, the working methods and procedures of the authorities have been under review. Once an appeal has been lodged with the immigration appellate authorities, it is open to any party to that appeal to apply for an early hearing.
