§ Mr. NewtonThis particular task is not included in basic training but it has been accepted by a number of health authorities as being a suitable task to be delegated to appropriately trained nursing staff. Advice is given on delegation to a nurse of tasks not included in basic training in HC(77)22, "The Extended Role of the Clinical Nurse Legal Implications & Training Requirements".
