To ask the Secretary of State for Wales, for each of the last three years, what was the maximum length of time that a patient confirmed as suffering from a cervical carcinoma had to wait before commencing in-patient treatment at(a) Singleton hospital, Swansea, and (b) Velindre hospital, Cardiff.

[holding answer 28 January 1988]: The available information is shown in the following table. It relates to the length of time that patients were on the waiting list before commencing in-patient radiotherapy treatment. In cases where the patient received in-patient treatment on several occasions, the information relates to the first in-patient episode in the sequence.
