To ask the Minister for the Arts what plans he has to encourage access to the arts by pensioners and young people.

Mr. Luce

The Arts Council, the Scottish and Welsh arts councils and the regional arts associations encourage a variety of schemes to increase accessibility to the arts. I am very much in favour of this.
