§ Mr. Michael SpicerThe Health and Safety Executive's Nuclear Installations Inspectorate assessed generic safety features of the pressurised water reactor as part of its consideration of the Central Electricity Generating Board safety case for Sizewell B. Its views were reported in depth at the Sizewell inquiry.
510WThe Health and Safety Executive informs me that the Central Electricity Generating Board is currently submitting to the Nuclear Installations Inspectorate its detailed safety case for Hinkley Point C. It expects to be in a position to make a statement on the licensability of the station in June.
