§ Mr. Teddy TaylorTo ask the Secretary of Stare for Social Services if he will reconsider the application by Mr. John Davis of 6 Tudor Gardens, Shoeburyness, Essex, for invalid care allowance; references ICA/988302 and ICA/ 168680, which was rejected on the grounds that his father had not been granted the attendance allowance, in the light of the decision to grant the allowance to his father on 3 June 1987, backdated to 14 November 1986, under the reference 0074P 937, and in the light of Mr. Davis's attempts since June 1987 to clarify the situation in various letters to his Department in Palatine house, Preston.
§ Mr. ScottA revised decision on Mr. Davis's claim was made on 11 February and he should receive payment within the next seven days. I regret that the review of his entitlement took longer than is usual and I will be writing to my hon. Friend.
