§ Mr. CopeAll of this Department's employment and training measures are available to young adults from disadvantaged areas, including the enterprise allowance scheme. Further details of the new training scheme for unemployed adults will be given in a White Paper shortly. While I am always willing to consider new proposals to promote employment, the Government's main contribution to rising employment will continue to come from pursuing sound economic policies as a foundation for sustained growth. I am in frequent contact with business in the community.
