To ask the Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster how many prosecutions have been initiated by his Department relating to the breaking of the letter monopoly of the Post Office; and if he will make a statement.

None. It is the responsibility of the Post Office to decide what action should be taken if it believes that its letter monopoly is being infringed.
