To ask the Secretary of State for Social Services if he will estimate the number of claimants of unemployment benefit aged 55 to 60 years who receive income from an occupational pension.

It is estimated that some 40,000 claimants of unemployment benefit aged between 55 and 60 receive income from an occupational pension.
